Notes

November 1918 Warnham Parish Magazine – Jack Yates:

"It is good to hear that Jack Yates is now progressing favourably and that he has recovered sufficiently to be brought to a hospital at Sheffield. His family and friends had an anxious time for a few days, for the accounts showed that he had been seriously wounded, and it was doubtful for some time how things might go with him. We hope now that he will go on well, and that he will make a speedy and thorough recovery."
