May 1918 Parish Magazine – Robert Greenop:
We also offer our sympathy to Mrs Olive Greenop, the wife, and to Mrs Greenop, the mother of Robert Greenop. News came some time ago that he had been wounded, and now we hear that one of his legs has had to be amputated. We rejoice that his life has been spared, and we hope that he will soon recover and be amongst us again.
